For a slimmed-down take on a classic Southern dessert, whip up this recipe for Guilt-Free Pecan Pie is no time. This is one of the best dessert recipes for entertaining a crowd.


Serves: 8

Cooking Time: 55 min
Ingredients

3 eggs, slightly beaten (or equivalent egg substitute)
1 cup sugar substitute suitable for baking
1 cup dark honey
2 tablespoons butter substitute suitable for baking, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecans
1 unbaked (9-inch) whole wheat pie crust

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In medium bowl with fork, beat eggs slightly. Add sugar substitute, honey, butter substitute and vanilla; stir until well blended.

Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack.
