Shawarma Recipe

Delicious and healthy shawarma
Serve with tahini sauce
This is a healthy and pretty easy recipe.
Ingredients:
- One kg of tenderloin beef meat (it should be cut in strips)
- Two teaspoons of salt
- One teaspoon of pepper
- One teaspoon of black pepper
- One teaspoon of cinnamon
- One teaspoon of dried thyme
- ¼ cup of grape vinegar
- ¼ cup of ketchup
- ¼ cup of virgin oil
- Two large onions, chopped
Mix the spices, vinegar, ketchup and oil with the meat and leave the mix in the refrigerator for two-three hours.
Scatter the mix in a large dish, add onions and cook for about a half-hour in the oven.
Serve and enjoy!
OPTIONAL:For the Tahini sauce:
- One garlic clove, crushed
- ¼ cup Al Wadi Al Akhdar tahini (sesame paste)
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup of water
- ½ teaspoon salt
